Garage Doors

All Compton garage doors are supplied by Hormann Ltd., the UK's largest garage door manufacturer

They are fully framed and made from powder coated or PVCu coated galvanised steel with high security cylinder locks and handles

The standard door included with your garage (2 with double garages) is a white, horizontally ribbed up and over door either 7'0, 8'0 or 9'0 wide (excluding the 3" frame) with 4-point locking

If preferred you can upgrade this door to either Vertically ribbed or Georgian in a choice of 7 powder coated colours

Other doors available include Rosewood Woodgrain and Golden Oak Woodgrain PVCu coated steel doors and traditional side hung white powder coated doors.

Subject to the garage width you can also upgrade to 10'0, 12'0 and 14'0 wide doors

Personal Doors

Personal doors are made from galvanised steel with high security 3-point locking and a tamper proof recessable and lockable handle except for the cedar door which is 2'8 wide, framed, ledged and braced with a mortice lock and the white, half glazed PVCu door which is double glazed with 5-point locking

Timber Windows

The standard window included with your garage is a 2'0 wide fixed timber framed window
Add more windows if you would like to increase the amount of natural light and ventilation and/or delete the standard window
The windows are preservative treated and pre-glazed with opening windows having casements hung on galvanised, storm proof hinges with brown enamel casement stays

PVCu Windows

For extra light and ventilation add maintainence free PVCu double glazed windows that are internally glazed with float glass sealed units

Opening windows are supplied complete with friction hinges and lockable handles

Translucent Roof Sheets for Compton Apex Garages Translucent Roof Sheets for Compton Apex Garages
If you would like to increase the amount of natural light you can add translucent roof sheets
These sheets give a visible width of 885mm approx and run from the eaves to the ridge on the 8' to 14'6 wide garages but with a standard roof sheet above them on the wider garages (as shown)

Please note that they cannot be positioned at the ends of the roof nor adjacent to each other

This simple and reliable electric door opener requires minimum maintenance and comes complete with a remote control and timed courtesy light to illuminate the garage

The optional 3 function wall mounted control consule provides a light switch, door operator switch and a vacation lock that immobilises your unit while you are away on holiday

The optional key operated Override Kit enables the door to be used manually in the event of a power failure

We recommend having a personal door with your garage whenever practicable
